RSS/Feeds/Syndication
What is RSS and how does it work?
RSS is a method for people to receive notification of web site content updates and to be able to read the content.
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. There are other definitions but this is generally the most common.
An RSS file, or feed, as they are also known, is a file which can be viewed by an application called a feedreader, newsreader or aggregator. These can be either desktop applications for your PC or online types.
It is now also possible to add these feeds directly to your Google, My Yahoo and MSN pages and view them from there.
